Super Fun Ways To Announce a Pregnancy

One of the hardest parts of being pregnant early on is not spilling the beans about it and waiting to tell family and friends your big announcement.

There are so many creative ways to tell the world about your little bundle on it's way! With social media, its so easy to do one announcement and send it to tons of people instantly.

How do you make it one to remember? Check out this nifty idea list!

  • If you have any skills on photoshop, make a "movie poster". Get a picture of you and your spouse and any older siblings together. Make it a casual picture so it looks more natural. Make the movie poster include details like "Starring mom and dad (your names) and older siblings" names if you have them. The name of the "movie" can be as simple as "Baby Boy". In the credits, put things like your due date, names you have chosen and so on.
  • Get a custom made Onezie (like the ones kidzies sells!) and put the baby's sex and due date on it. Hang it on a clothes line and snap a picture.
  • If you have a fun loving husband, paint the words, "We are prego!" on his tummy for a photo.
  • Have an older sibling hold a sign that says, "I'm gonna be a big sister (or brother)"
  • Warp ribbon around your belly and attach a tag that says your due date.
  • Take a picture of some of your more expensive things sitting on a lawn yard sale style. Have a sign next to them that says, "Will trade for a crib." Don't actually sell them silly. Its just a picture!
  • Put an actual bun in your oven. Take a picture of this, and say this is what you are up to and see how long it takes for people to make the connection.
  • Find a "Bump Ahead" road sign and have momma stand under it with a look of happiness, and her hand on her belly.
  • Take a picture of mom eating Pickles and Ice cream. Caption it, "(your name)'s new diet plan"
  • If you know the sex of your baby, make a cake with either a pink inside or a blue one. Show the cake uncut, then cut to reveal the baby's sex.
Hope this helps you make that big announcement and congrats!
